A practical example of hearing Father's voice:
Since May '23 I have taken time off full-time work to dedicate my efforts on TTN. I am still far off getting everything done which I set out for myself, but have an urgent decision to make.
Do I go back to full-time work to pay for the running of TTN as all our savings are gone, or do I trust that Father will open a door and continue with my work on TTN?
How would you go about asking for direction on this decision?

I know this deeply as one who is in ministry.
I have worked for most of my faith life in ministry (26years) and see the burden it puts upon a marriage. The things you give up for the body is not seen, or comprehended. People don’t see the strife and lack and are very slow in supporting the one who teaches. Yet we do it because, I believe we count the cost for serving our faith family and our Most High. It is all for His glory.
I am facing the same thoughts. No matter what happens , I am still a pastor and a teacher until Father changes it. People see these things in me.
I could have had a big church long ago, and preached zealously on tithing. I could have preached the prosperity gospel and had a media platform. But that is not my bag.
I could have gone down some career path or become a priest in the denominational church, with a salary and a house, but that was not for me either.
However, The answer to call it a day looms every so often.
God’s people lack no good thing. They shall not want. Either the promise is true or it is a lie. We are called to walk together and share the burden , and be invested and interested in each other.
Sometimes the church feeds the needy in its congregations and that is good and right, but it forgets to see how the pastor or those who are leading them are doing. It’s sad but it’s true.
Is it wrong to seek the welfare of one’s own family, I don’t think so. God would want this too. Is what we are doing perfect or permissible? Will the Lord be angry with us if we take either path?
I am going to be bold and say, if the people need this gift that you have given Rhy, then the people should honour it and invest in the vision of this platform.
It honours God and the gift he has given to His children.
Let us read what scripture says.
1Corinthians 9:
8Do I say this from a human perspective? Doesn’t the Law say the same thing? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses: “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.”d Is it about oxen that God is concerned? 10Isn’t He actually speaking on our behalf? Indeed, this was written for us, because when the plowman plows and the thresher threshes, they should also expect to share in the harvest.
11If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much for us to reap a material harvest from you? 12If others have this right to your support, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not exercise this right. Instead, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.
13Do you not know that those who work in the temple eat of its food, and those who serve at the altar partake of its offerings? 14In the same way, the Lord has prescribed that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. 15But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this to suggest that something be done for me. Indeed, I would rather die than let anyone nullify my boast.
16Yet when I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am obligated to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! 17If my preaching is voluntary, I have a reward. But if it is not voluntary, I am still entrusted with a responsibility. 18What then is my reward? That in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not use up my rights in preaching it.

An old pentecostal man claimed he was led by the Spirit no matter what irresponsible trouble he got into. He also claimed rolling his tongue around in nonsense was him speaking in tongues. I dont believe either of his claims because of the life he led.
Ive tried to teach my daughter how to hear Yahs voice. Shes given up praying because she says she never hears it. It may be because she refuses immersion. However, Pentecost showed immersion is not necessarily a requirement. The world has been causing her to doubt the validity of the Word, and I think thats part of it. She still keeps Torah, vut she keeps Sabbbath & Holy Days grudgingly. I think her heart meeds that aha! moment to bring her back, but our conversations about Torah have become polarized often. Shes 18, so I really cant do much without making things worse. Im hoping in two summers, when she turns 20 on the Scriptural calendar, she will get immersed. Ive been planning a special trip for it, its just if we can afford it.
I can only speak from my own experiences. Sometimes, Yah will act without giving a "verbal" answer. Dont assume the answerr is no just because you dont hear Him. Hes going to surprise you and strike you with awe!

For me, as a single person, I immediately think about Abraham and Isaac when father had to sacrifice his only son from Sarah and how Abraham obeyed Elohiym. I, in my "singleness" would have also sacrificed everything BUT -- 1) you are married, 2) you do have children, 3) we do not live in the easiest times, 4) is it possible to achieve the same TTN success while working or not. Remember, should you choose to go back to work, your attitude and love for Yeshua may be the only testimony, some people in the workplace might see. THEN, should you choose not to go back to a workplace, 1) you and your family must place your trust, hope and love in Father's provisions. 2) you and your wife must not listen to friends and families who are angry and say bad things about the situation your in. There will be a lot of gossip, be prepared. 3) you will have to be prepared to go through hard days although there will be many blessed days as well.
Thus, the only thing that I will say Rhy, whatever you and your wife decide, keep Father first and you will be successful.
Love you lots in Yeshua
