I had some comeback earlier this week where I was told that people sharing the Bible as the focus of their life should still have a job as an income.

My view is that this isn't the example we see in Scripture as the Priests and Levites didn't get land as their inheritance. Their service to Father is/was their inheritance. Therefore if I pull it through to the church structure then those ministering is doing work and should therefore not have to get a secular job for an income.

Paul as example tells the church that he had full right to ask them to support him in his ministry, but he didn't want them to boast in doing so and therefore paid for his own expences.
