Who says the Jewish people have the authority to determine the biblical calendar and interpret the dates for the holy days?

I wish he had pointed to Numbers 10 but I agree with his thesis and conclusion. I'll take it a step further and say that many just have a problem accepting authority. They wish to be their own Elohim and this stubbornness may cost some dearly.

I have also learned from the experiences of others. For example, I read of a group that used to follow a sighted moon calendar endorsed by Michael Rood. But later on, they decided to switch to the Jewish calendar because it is easier to plan ahead with that one.
