`Established in 1580` vs. `Is near` and `coming quickly`

For those following my questions on Revelation, I must sound like a stuck gramophone. (For the far younger generation, a gramophone is what we called an MP3 player in my days. 🤣)

Why would the angel tell John in Rev 22: 10 "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near."?

And Yeshua in v12 say: “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to the merit of his deeds."?

And then John confirm this in v20 "He who testifies and affirms these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus."

Might our understanding of Scripture be influenced by the Roman Catholic teaching of #futurism which has embedded itself in the #endtimes interpretations?
