"He that hath none, let him sell his coat, and buy a sword."

This is always such an interesting "contradictory" verse as we are told in Revelation that he that kills with the sword dies by the sword.

So this verse is talking about self defence and not getting a sword to kill someone on purpose. OR, is the instruction in Revelation only for the people of that time as the verse starts with something like "here is the patience of the saints..." if I remember correctly?
