I received this 18 minute video from Scripture Truth Ministries just a few minutes ago. They claim that rabbinic Judaism is wrong on the clean and unclean animals classification.
Scripture Truth Ministries believes that tuna, duck, geese, swan, veal, mushrooms, seaweed, etc., which are classified as clean by rabbinic Judaism, are in reality, unclean. Scripture Truth Ministries claim that they are not adding to Scripture, but clarifying it.
I personally believe that rabbinic Judaism has the clean foods right, but what do the rest of you think?

What about the bird sitting on a nest (Deuteronomy 22:6-7) where the instruction is that we can only take either the bird or the chicks/eggs, but not both. If we draw a parallel then the eggs should be unclean as they haven't been hatched and also the chicks haven't been weaned from their parent. So are all eggs unclean then as well?
Interesting how they only ringfence Blue cheese. Why don't they include other fermented products like yoghurt, all cheeses, or even kombucha in their list? Oh yes, and wine. All of these are made with natural occurring microbials.
Hmmm, I can understand Blue-green algae that is naturally occurring as it is a filter feeder and the quality of the water stream determines their toxin levels. If it is however grown in closed controlled ponds then the toxin levels are controlled as it is fed what it needs to grow and only that much as unnecessary feeding increases the production costs and impact the quality of the end product. I personally am on the fence on this one.
Seaweed on the other hand doesn't have flesh and therefore not a carcass. So why do they include it in the list of abominable things in the sea? It is a living plant as far as I understand it; and green at that.
Last one, interesting how the existence of the internet is "proof" that Daniel 12 is coming true. I was under the impression that it is Father's Spirit that leads us in truth and reveals things to us. I personally won't count on many of the "facts coming to light" nowadays on the internet as anyone can say something profound loud and often enough and then it becomes a new doctrine. ?
