...in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.”
Romans 15:9 ESV
God promised Abraham that all the nations of the world would be blessed through his seed (Gen 18:18), and this passage, along with Rom 11:11-15, shows three ways in which they are blessed.
First, they are blessed in Yeshua who died and rose again to ensure eternal life for all those who believe him and swear allegiance to him.
Second, the initial rejection of #yeshua by the Jews (also the seed of Abraham, per Yeshua’s own testimony in John 8:56), brought about that death and resurrection that was necessary to accomplish his goal of making salvation available to all mankind.
Third, the eventual mass repentance of the Jews and their acceptance of their Messiah, will usher in great blessings here on earth in the Millennial Kingdom.
