Thought for Today: Tuesday April 29

The chairman of the history department of a famous university once said: “We have become a nation of cowards” … By thinking I was better, I challenged his statement, but he argued that many people, including many believers, have become reluctant to follow a course if it is not popular. He was right! How different are we from early believers! They have boldly proclaimed the Gospel in the face of hostility, persecution, scorn, and even death… We may never face the same dangers as those believers did, but don’t take the road of cowardice; do not give in to fear. Remember: “If YHVH is with us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
