now in a general way the emphasis is on a 'debunking' of the trinity concept, but there are some arguments which do not compute. ie, other areas of scripture are conveniently not mentioned...i'm going to try to address that here.
a prophet like moses.
Yeshua was not a levite, and so was not like moses in that way.
Yeshua was conceived by the Holy Spirit, moses by a son of adam, and so He was not like moses in that way.
so how was He like moses?
john 1:17
- For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. -
moses the man was the giver of the Law, Yeshua the man was the giver of the fulfilled Law. in this way He was like moses.
now 1 tim 3 addresses the issue of the flesh. verse 16 talks of a manifestation or revealing in the flesh.
for this to make sense, something has to be manifested in something else.
YHWH manifested in Yeshua, the man (of flesh), fits the bill.
hear me out.
while thinking YHWH Himself is the Father this would be incorrect. i'll get back to that in a second.
but john the baptist was the voice in the wilderness, doing what?
isa 40:3
- A voice of one calling:
“Prepare the way for the LORD(YHWH) in the wilderness;
make a straight highway for our God(Elohim) in the desert. -
prepare the way for YHWH, so it must be YHWH manifested in Yeshua, for did john the baptist not prepare the way for Yeshua?
so who is YHWH?
verses from john chapter 1
- 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. -
- 14The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. -
- 18No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known. -
YHWH is the Word, the Son, of Elyon, the Most High, the Father, who manifested in the flesh of Yeshua, the only human begotten of the Father through the Holy Spirit.
and the Word that WAS God, the Son who IS Himself God, we know as Elohim...in this way the Two, the Son who is in the Father as the Father is in the Son, are indeed One.
(just as, when the Son, and through Him also therefore the Father, at last resides in us, is it not written - you are Elohim?)
no-one has seen the Father, not even His back, for moses saw YHWH's back, not Elyon's...
and with the bringing of the children of israel into the Covenant in exo 24, moses and the elders saw Elohim, not Elyon.
now i know this can be considered just a theory, but take a second to note that what i'm doing is trying to reconcile all kinds of seemingly conflicting passages of scripture, and this 'theory' is doing a pretty good job of it so far.
from genesis 1 look carefully at exactly WHO is being mentioned when, and i suppose i do need to mention there is an established concept that the 'Plan' has been continuously revealed more fully as history progressed.
if i'm right in this, are we ready to see YHWH is the Son yet?
for it is only in the NT that the Son now manifested among us refines our understanding even better, so that we at last can see even the Son is under the Most High Father, the only One who is good.

john 14
- 6Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
8Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
9Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. 11Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves. -
all this time the disciples (in the form of philip at least) did not realise they were seeing what moses only saw the back of.
and matthew 16
- 15“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. -
now, by this time, for the disciples to see Yeshua as the Messiah, but 'only' as a sort of unique superspecial mere human, should be a bit of a no-brainer, but Yeshua is rather delighted at his response, and that makes sense if simon peter is actually answering, you are YHWH (manifested in Yeshua).
