Thought for Today: Wednesday July 30

Alexander Maclaren, a well-known British preacher wrote in his memoirs: “What disturbs us in this world is not trouble, but our opposition to trouble”. And it is true --- thus, from today, put all your troubles in YHVH’s Hands. He will not let you down. In the midst of Paul’s painful illness, Paul begged YHVH to intervene and take it away. But YHVH replied: “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Think of the suffering the Moshiach and the disciples went through – and you want an easy life? Love and trust YHVH, even in your troubles or pain.
