Christians and Jewish folks might be reading the same Old Testament and yet sometimes come to very different conclusions. Often this happens because they use only one verse or one part of a passage to establish their doctrine. Deuteronomy 19:15, “A lone witness is not sufficient to establish any wrongdoing or sin against a man, regardless of what offense he may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” by applying this principle to the way we study the Bible and searching for more than one witness or passage that confirms another, we are better assured of accuracy.
