Thomas gets a bad wrap in traditional religion, and it’s really unfair, him being blamed for having the exact same reaction as the rest of the disciples while being unwilling to be swayed by a wonderful story someone else told him was true without proof.

took me a while to think things through.
do i believe only once 'seeing' proof, like thomas, or do i believe while not having 'seen'?
being a rather logically inclined person, my belief in Yeshua was not strong in the beginning. there was a lot of doubt.
but, the more i read over and over, and thought on things, the more sense the whole grand scheme of our Father, and Yeshua's place in it, made.
and the more sense it made, the more i believed.
i like to think my belief is now a rock.
but i had to 'see' that, also logically, Yeshua is Lord.
now i know the response from the heart is usually given higher value by people, but the wild horse that is my mind needed to 'get with the program' too for solidity to build, else the wild horse runs to doubt...
