Those who had power over God's people rejected Yeshua (#jesus), but God overruled them and made him to be the cornerstone of the whole Kingdom. Whenever unjust and dishonest people sense that they might be exposed, they accuse others of their own evils, they suppress all dissent, and they continually add to their own lies to protect their power. See the Sadducees in Acts 4 and today's social justice warriors (on both right and left) in every school, Hollywood studio, newsroom, and government office.

It doesn't matter what the world says or does, if God has decreed a thing, then it will be done. No power in heaven or earth can annul God's decrees, whether they concern his rules for life (#torah) or the Ruler of Life (#yeshua).

Obedience to God required Peter and John to disobey the Sanhedrin in Acts 4 for 3 reasons:
1-Torah requires a witness to speak.
2-God made Israel to be a light to the nations.
3-No one in power ever has authority to override God's commands.
