The fear of YHWH leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.
Proverbs 19:23

If you properly fear God, you will strive to live in his favor and so be secure in the fact that you are on his side.

He defends his own. "If God be for you, who can possibly be against you?"
