Thought for Today: Sunday October 12
When Yeshua returns, there will be an accounting given, a judgement held. Every person outside of the Moshiach will give an account not only of the things done and the things said, but also an account of all their thoughts and motives. Now for the glorious news: When Yeshua returns, all evil will be destroyed. There will be worldwide justice, and complete safety and security. There will be no more war, no more fighting – for Yeshua Moshiach will rule as King of kings, and “His Kingdom will never end” {Luke 1:33}

here's the case for some 'escaping' the judgement.
hebrews 8 and 10 quote jeremiah 31
8:12 - For I will forgive their iniquities
and will remember their sins no more.” -
10:17 - Then He adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.” -
referring to jeremiah 31:34.
but this is to be seen with regard to isaiah 54
- 4Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame;
do not be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated.
For you will forget the shame of your youth
and will remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
5For your husband is your Maker—
the LORD of Hosts is His name— -
what i mean to show is that, for those who are to make up the bride, there is no judgement.
john 5
- 22Furthermore, the Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, -
- 24Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life. -
may i point out that hearing His word also means obeying it.
and, so often not emphasised, john 8
- 10Then Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?”
11“No one, Lord,” she answered.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.” -
who is this woman He chooses not to judge?
is there anyone else He explicitly does not condemn?
(where's the man? which leads to the next question, WHEN was she caught in adultery? just saying.)
now before we get all glad about this, my impression is the group that will make up the bride is a select few (quite probably the 144,00, only those who have walked all the steps of the way to get to this point.
it's why i find it important to show the adulterous woman episode occurs on shemini atzeret.
i for one, while full of hope, do not consider myself yet in that group.
be that as it may, the question is, will NO-ONE escape judgement?
