Thought for Today: Sunday October 19

The Holy Spirit comes to convict us of our sin. He makes us admit to ourselves that we are sinners. We cannot come to the Moshiach unless the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin. He also convinces us of the truth about the Moshiach, as the Saviour. “When the Holy Spirit has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgment” {John 16:8}. In addition, the Holy Spirit gives us new life. When we give our lives to Yeshua and trust Him as our Saviour and Redeemer, the Spirit renews our souls and brings the life of YHVH into us. We can have joy and peace, and we have a new direction to our lives because the Spirit of Elohiym has imparted to us the very life of YHVH.
