Jacob was about 77 years old when he fell for Rachel and about 84 years old when he married the two sisters. Tradition says that Jacob was still unmarried at such a late age because he had been studying with Shem, the son of Noah, all those years. There's no way to know if that's true, but it's an interesting thought.
