Sins Are Not The Same:

You will at least once in your life hear that some believers -- and preachers -- say that all sin are the same. This is not Biblical. All sins are NOT the same.

There are only in 2 ways that sin are the same.
1) Any sin will keep us away from heaven if we don't belief or accept Yeshua as Saviour. and
2) All sin can be forgiven you if you repent accept one sin.

But this doesn't mean that YHVH sees all sins equally in all respect.

YHVH judges sin differently according to:
1. Motive: In Numbers 15:22-31 and Luke 12:47-48
2. Knowledge and Opportunity: Luke 12:48 and John 19:11
3. Position and Influence: James 3:1 and Mark 12:38-40
4. Type of sin: Exodus 21:12, Exodus 22:1, 1 Corinthians 6:18, Matthew 18:6-7, Matthew 12:31 and Matthew 23:23

This is very important for us as believers to understand because believing YHVH sees all sins the same is a distortion of His Holy Character. If we view murder, rape, gossip, irresponsibility, homosexuality etc., alike, we are not defining sin the way YHVH defines it. In Mark 3:28-29, it is written that there is 1 sin that is unforgivable: Blasphemy against Ruach HaKodesh. While YHVH clearly defines some sins worse than others, does not mean that we are capable of creating a perfect ranking system for all sin. All world governments are forced to do this for their criminal system, but it does not always take into account the motives, knowledge and opportunities that only YHVH can know. It is well know and a common fact that the world today are often unwilling to call sin -- sin. So they excuse, blame-shift and redefine behaviour what YHVH calls sinful. Many people, also some believers, have convinced themselves that arrogant people, criminals and even selfish narcissists are VICTIMS of heredity, environment, poor self esteem and the hurtful act of others. But you do not see this excuses in Scripture. YHVH does not excuse the proud, He opposes them - James 4:6; YHVH calls criminals wicked - Proverbs 6:16-19; YHVH Calls selfish people unworthy - Matthew 10:37-39. Scripture clearly says that we are sinners and not victims! Christian Believers and Torah-Observant believers acknowledge this truth because we know a clean conscience is a non-negotiable part of our walk with Adonai Elohim. - 1 John 1:8-10. Our repentance enables us to identify and repent of our own sin before judging what others have done to us - Matthew 7:1-5. And it gives us access to Moshiach's Power to overcome sin in our lives. - Philippians 4:13. Those who try and redefine sin are hopeless victims but true believers are able to be hope-filled, forgiving victors. Also important to understand is while Scripture speaks of generational curses, the sins of the fathers visited upon the children e.g Deuteronomy 5:9, it also makes it very clear that people are punished for their sins and not their parents - Ezekiel 18. When a parent is sinful, their offspring often follow their ways, that is the generational curse. But each person can choose to do what is right. People raised in ungodly families can choose to live godly lives and people raised in godly families can choose to follow the world and reject their upbringing. Ezekiel 18 confirms that truth, do not be confused by Proverbs 22:6. May YHVH bless you and keep you all -- May His Face shine upon you today and give you peace.
