Dani'El didn't submit to the earthly king, but he bowed in prayer three times a day to the Almighty GOD, praising HIM and giving thanks, in spite of the royal decree issued that no one was to pray to any god, except to the king. Because of his obedience to Yahweh/GOD instead of man's law, he was thrown a lion's den.

Abba did a Mighty Thing for Dani'El when he was in that den of lions! While his captures believed he would be devoured, Yahweh heard Dani'El's prayers and HE knew of Dani'El's Faith in HIS Promises. Dani'El Trusted that Abba was with him.

That Yahweh/GOD who was with Dani'El in the lion's den is the same Yahweh/GOD who reigns today. HE Never Changes! What HE did for Dani'El, HE will do for us!!

But what did Dani'El do to earn Abba's Favor? He humbled himself! He determined himself to and fixed his heart on knowing Yahweh/GOD...HIS Ways, HIS Desires for us, HIS Instructions. Dani'El did not put man's ways above Yahweh's Ways. From the very moment Dani'El did these things, Abba heard his prayers, and HE answered them, sparing Dani'El his life.

If we want our prayers to reach Yahweh's/GOD's Ear, if we want HIM to show us HIS Favor, we too must humble ourselves. We must put HIS Ways above any of man's ways. We must seek HIS Approval and not our family's or our neighbors, or our bosses, or anyone's approval...only HIS.

Following in HIS Ways will be costly. It can cost us our families, our friends, our jobs, our homes...or even our life. Are you willing to pay the price? I am. I have. And I will continue to do so until HE calls me Home to walk with HIM for all Eternity.
