Yet again she bore a son, and she called his name Shelah. Judah was in Chezib when she bore him.
Genesis 38:5

The name Chezib in this verse means false or deception, so Judah was literally in Deception out of town when his wife bore Shelah. Maybe Shelah wasn't really his son.
