This is an observation tower built during WWII along the mid Atlantic coast. It stands on a narrow strip of sand between the ocean and a salt water pond and was designed to withstand a direct hit from most ordnance of that day. Our Creator offers us a strong tower in His sacred word and those who seek refuge in it are safe.
