The Roman military command probably wouldn't have looked too kindly on a centurion being friendly with the Jewish residents of Capernaum as the centurion in Matthew 8 and Luke 7 was. Making a public appeal like this to an itinerant Jewish faith healer was likely to jeopardize his career. He had life-or-death command over nearly one hundred soldiers and numerous servants, but he was willing to risk it all for the sake of one of them. This is a great example for leaders on all walks of life.

When he had entered Capernaum, a centurion came forward to him, appealing to him, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.”
Matthew 8:5-6
The centurion in Matthew 8 had power and wealth, but he humbled himself to approach an itinerant preacher on behalf of a slave. He commanded Roman soldiers, but he recognized Yeshua as his superior. The centurion both served and commanded those under his authority without contradiction or confusion.

When evil overtakes the good, bad things happen… Genesis 6:5, “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.” https://www.dailymail.co.uk/ne....ws/article-12722783/
Prayer -- Day 18
Receive
“Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name,
He gave the right to become children of YHVH”. (John 1: 12)
Receive Moshiach; surrender to YHVH’s will and way. It is the acceptance of a new manner of thought and life. It is your doorway to a new family; as a child of YHVH. Continue to re-surrender yourself every day and, in proportion as you do so, you will feel spiritual power surging in.
