Something I am having trouble wrapping my head around is, how can one reverse calculate the Abib calendar? Not knowing the state of the Barley from previous years and intercalating an extra month in some years, Using the Abib calendar how do we know what year we are in? How could one know which years were 12 month and which were 13?

It doesnt matter which were 12 and which were 13 months, unless youre trying to get it down to the month. There werent that many kings who ruled less than a year, i think they total about a year together. The tricky part is knowing when the counted the kings year. For instance, was it the agricultural year, going from the 7th month to 6th month, or were they usinig the commanded calendar, 1st-12/13?

Something else they could habe done was start the year when the king ascended the throne, which is most likely.

Hi Rhy Bezuidenhout, do you have a new social icon for the updated TTN logo? We'd like to add it to our social media bar on the website. ?

Hi David, thanks for asking which prompted me to upload the logos.

I have loaded two logos on the Beztec profile page. You can go to the post on https://social.ttn.place/post/....36595_you-may-use-th

These are largish logos, so you can downscale it if needed without much loss of quality.

The one is the full logo and the other the icon by itself. For social icons, the icon by itself would be recommended.

Here is a comparison from https://permies.com/t/118917/a..../84051/thumb-barley- They say:

Barley seeds are solitary. (One seed per peduncle.)

Rye seeds come in pairs.

Wheat seeds are triplets.

In modern American culture, when two people get engaged to be married, either one of them can change their mind at any time and call the whole thing off. Biblical Hebrew culture is different. Betrothal is not the same as engagement. In fact, God treats betrothal almost the same as marriage. If a man has relations with a woman who is betrothed to another man, the penalty is the same as if she were married: death. The only way to end a Biblical betrothal is through divorce.
