Prayer -- Day 17
Transform
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”. (Romans 12:2)
Drain your mind of every destructive thought, every fear, every feeling of inferiority. Picture your mind completely empty. Then start filling it with thoughts of YHVH, thoughts of every good and pleasant thing. Practice this new habit regularly twice every day, morning and evening, to counteract the older and negative thinking.

After this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah east of Mamre (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan.
Genesis 23:19
According to tradition and Scripture, four patriarchs were buried with their wives in the cave near Hebron: Adam & Eve, Abraham & Sarah, Isaac & Rebekah, Jacob & Leah.
“Hear us, my lord; you are a prince of God among us. Bury your dead in the choicest of our tombs. None of us will withhold from you his tomb to hinder you from burying your dead.”
Genesis 23:6
The Hittites' offer to let Abraham use their own tombs to bury Sarah was a veiled attempt to assimilate him and his clan into their nation. Genocide comes in different forms: murder, displacement, assimilation... Sometimes it even comes with a smile.
