DEVOTIONAL
Responding to Abba at All Times
Throughout our lives, we will experience both suffering and joy. We will have times of great grief and times of overflowing happiness. Sometimes, they’ll be separate seasons—but sometimes these experiences come together.
In either case, James expected Disciples to come to Abba. If someone was suffering, prayer was the call to action. If someone was cheerful, people were to praise Abba.
This might seem obvious, but when suffering clouds our thinking, we can sometimes forget to prioritize prayer. And when things are going well and we are cheerful, it’s easy to just enjoy our season and not think to praise Adonai for it. But every season of life is actually just an opportunity to put into practice what James wrote about…
When we are suffering, let us pray. When those around us are suffering, let us pray. When we are cheerful or happy, let us praise Adonai. When others are happy, let us praise Adonai with them. In every circumstance or situation, let’s go to Adonai with everything, and trust Him with everything.
When we do that, we keep our eyes on Yeshua, and He helps us endure every situation we face.
So what are you facing right now? Take a moment to pray to Adonai and tell Him all you’re going through. Then, reflect on the good things happening in your life, and tell God, “Thank You.”
Small Straws by Marsha Burns
Position yourself in a way that will allow you to receive My perspective and wisdom in every situation and circumstance. Let Me lead you in the way of righteousness, peace and joy, says the Lord. Be sensitive to the conviction that comes when you deviate from the path that I have set you on, and be ready to punish disobedience by being obedient to My leading.
“But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of his Son Yeshua purifies us from all sin.”
1 Yochanan (1 Jo) 1:7 CJB

Is it just me or are the days getting shorter or time passing quicker?
Prep day feels more like "catch-up day" as I rush to get priority task of the week completed before the next week starts as there just isn't enough time in the 6 work days each week. ?
The list just gets longer every week...

Healing Prayer:
Abba our Adonai Rophe (Healer), I truly believe You are hearing my prayer for healing from the circulatory problem I have been experiencing and I thank You for hearing and answering my prayer. I love You Abba and I help me to rise above this illness. I thank You for Your promise to heal me and to deliver me. I believe You will satisfy me with total health and long life. Thank You Adonai YHVH. Thank You for being near to me as I call upon You in truth. It thrills me to know that You are fulfilling my desire for healing even as I pray and that you will always hear my cry. Thank You Abba! As I call to You, I ask you to show me great and mighty things, which I do not know. Teach me Your ways so that I will always be certain to walk in Your paths. From this point forward Abba, I will refuse to be anxious or worried about the circulatory problem that has afflicted me, but through prayer with thanksgiving, I will make my request known to you. Even if I do so now, I am experiencing Your wonderful peace, which surpasses all understanding. Let it continue to guard my heart and my mind through Yeshua Moshiach, I pray. Thank You for Your Peace Abba and for healing me of this circulatory problem I had been experiencing. Thank You for Your wonderful love my Adonai and my YHVH. I believe Your Word which tells me that eye has not seen, nor ear heard the things that You have in store for me because I love You. Thank You for the glorious promises of Your Word through which I am able to partake of Your nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Your Word tells me that “life is in the blood” Abba. In the Name of Yeshua, I pray for my circulatory system to function in perfect health to be clear, clean and filled with Your life and to be free from all destruction, so that my body which is Your temple may truly glorify You Abba. Thank You my Adonai and my YHVH, for enabling me to escape the corruption of all circulatory disorders and I ask You to keep me completely free from them from this time forth. In Yeshua Name I pray, amen.
