In Scripture, God speaks to us, and we can think about the Bible as a love letter from God in which He instructs us how we ought to live to achieve our full potential as His creation. The more we read it, the more we will get to know Him and the way He designed us to live, especially when we are aided with His Holy Spirit dwelling within us through faith in the Messiah Yeshua. In this five-part study, combined into one video, we will cover how to properly study Scripture, what we ought to watch out for when we're studying Scripture and how to minimize negative impact from people who don't know God. We will also define Scripture and discuss how we ought to apply our study of Scripture to our lives in faith.

This Bible Study was originally delivered on April 27, 2021 as First Fruits Ministries first ever public meeting; unfortunately it was not recorded. Because of this, I decided to cut the study into five parts and deliver it for Corner Fringe Ministries House Church Movement meeting that the pastors of our affiliate church asked me to lead. Thus, these recordings that make up this video were made in September, October, November, January and March 2022 and 2023. The recording for Part 5 was lost, so I re-recorded it in July 2023. What you see here is a recording of the second (and third) time I gave this Bible Study presentation, called "A Study of Scripture." It is now presented as a five-part series, as prepared for and delivered to Corner Fringe Ministries' House Church Movement meeting group.
A Study for Scripture, when all five parts are put together, is actually one study that constitutes the first of a four-part series on the Study of Scripture that was originally delivered in April, May, June and September 2021. "The Word of God" was the second part of the series, "The Nature of God" was the third part, and then "The Knowledge-Obedience Cycle" was the fourth part of the series. An updated version of The Word of God was recorded in July 2023 as part of First Fruits Ministries regular Bible Study series. An updated version of The Nature of God will be recorded, God-willing, in August 2023, and the "knowledge-Obedience Cycle" will also be re-recorded at a future date and added to this playlist when the time comes.

Healing Prayer:
Father, the addiction I have battling against has truly been a yoke of bondage around my neck. Your Word declares that I am free through Moshiach, but I see it is my responsibility to maintain my liberty in Him. This I will do with the help of Ruach HaKodesh. Thank You for the anointing of Yeshua, which breaks every yoke. You anointed Him to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering the sight of the blind. Thank You for promising to set at liberty those who are bruised through Yeshua Moshiach. I receive these truths in my life as I pray and I thank You Father, that the truth does in fact make me free. Your Son Yeshua Moshiach, has made me free and therefore, I am free from my addictions indeed. Thank You Father. Father YHVH, help me to see the true inner need behind my addiction and to find legitimate ways of meeting that need. Let Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation enlighten my understanding to see clearly why I do this thing and to know fully how much You love me and want to heal me and set me free. If there is any un-forgiveness, bitterness, evil speaking, hatred of others or myself, wrath, sinful anger or any other sin within me, reveal it to me now and I will confess it and repent of it so that You may heal me. As You show me my sins, I will say [Yes that is sin] and I will confess them to You as sin and turn from them in deep, heartfelt repentance. I ask for Your forgiveness of these sins. Thank You Father, that You are now cleansing me from these sins and all unrighteousness through the Blood of Moshiach. I rejoice in the knowledge that I have been buried with Moshiach in His death and this enables me to walk in newness of life, free from the hold of any addiction. Truly, I repent of the addiction to ....................................... that has held me back for so long and I renounce it in the Name of Yeshua, for Your Word reveals to me that every knee must bow (including the knee of addiction) at the Name of Yeshua. I humble myself now before You my Father. With great confidence therefore, I come to Your throne of grace. I ask for Your continuing grace in my life to help me completely overcome this addiction. Strengthen me by Your Spirit in my inner self. I give You praise Father, for You have delivered me out of all the power of darkness and its addictions and You have translated me into the Kingdom of Your dear Son Yeshua Moshiach. In the Kingdom of Yeshua Moshiach, I am free from all addictions. Thank You Father, for setting me completely free and allowing me to enter into the glorious liberty of the Children of YHVH. I now know that I will not be addicted to .................................... any longer. Thank You for loving me so much Father. In Yeshua’ wonderful Name I pray, amen.
