As Followers of Messiah and Torah it's often known that we are separated from the world. Sadly that also seems to mean we are separated from other humans as well. My challenge for you today is to set a day on your calendar each week to call someone and just say, "Hi, how are things?" Be a real human and connect on a real level!
Do you remember the time when people had real community? Do you remember when your mom used to be on the phone with a friend almost every day after school time chatting with her girlfriend? Take the poll below so that we can get an idea of what this situation really looks like among Torah believers of all sorts!
1 Corinthians 3:2, “The teaching I gave you was like milk, not solid food. I did this because you were not ready for solid food. And even now you are not ready.” Babies drink milk and sleep most of the time, but as they grow they need to be weaned and begin to be more active. Now is the time for believers to wean themselves and be more active…
I'm in the mood for world travel today, because a friend is visiting Scotland and posting amazing pictures online. I've always wanted to visit Israel, for sure! I also wouldn't mind seeing the mountains of Alaska, the tip of South America, or touring Europe on a river cruise. LOL! I love knowing that all the world belongs to my King, and He's got me in the palm of His hand. https://archive.aweber.com/awlist6425868/GJYHw
Thought for Today: Wednesday March 01:
Yeshua was warning His disciples that it would be costly for them to follow Him. It would be costly because they would have to give up their own plans and goals. Because they must share in His rejection and death. It is then no wonder that [many of His disciples turned back and was no longer following Him] – John 6:66. The cost of following Yeshua today has not changed. We want to cling to our own plans while He says to let it go. We want to live for ourselves while He says we must live for Him. We want to live lives of pleasure and ease while He says we must follow Him to the cross.
