Can anyone recommend great devotionals, whether for the family or the individual, which don't disregard Torah or mention man-made holidays? Would especially love if they actually use Hebrew names!
The presently use the plans on The Bible App but, their Worldview and watered-down presentation of Scripture is really growing frustrating.
Genesis 46;2, “ And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.” Genesis 46 describes how Jacob gathers his family to the them to Egypt. Not all family gatherings end with everyone moving to a new place. Some families gather to maintain a strong connection, some get together to accomplish a task and others only get together for weddings or funerals. Depending on the family getting together can be fun, stressful, frustrating, exhilarating and sometimes all of these at the same time. There is no right or wrong way for a family to gather although it is important that the newer generations know who they came from and who their family is even if no one is making a major move.

Thought for Today: Monday June 13:
Let thankfulness rule in your heart. As you thank YHVH for the blessings in your life, marvellous things will happen. It is as if scales will fall from your eyes, enabling you to see more and more of His glorious riches. With your eyes thus opened, you can help yourself to whatever you need from His treasure stores. Each time you receive one of His golden gifts, let your thankfulness sing out praises to His Name. Hallelujahs are the language of heaven and they can become the language of your heart. A life of praise and thankfulness becomes a life filled with miracles. Instead of trying to be in control, focus on Him and what He is doing in your life. This is the power of praise by centring your entire being in Him. This is how He created you to live, for He made you in His own image. Enjoy abundant life by overflowing with praise and thankfulness. Blessings for today!
