Exodus 22
21“Do not tread down a sojourner or oppress him, for you were sojourners in the land of Mitsrayim.
22“Do not afflict any widow or fatherless child.
23“If you do afflict them at all – if they cry out to Me at all, I shall certainly hear their cry,
24and My wrath shall burn and I shall slay you with the sword, your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless.

Are the dupes of a false prophet responsible for any sins they commit because they believed him? What about Moses' and Aaron's prayer in Numbers 16:22? God answered that prayer by sparing the nation, but killing all of #korah's political cabal *and their entire households*.
The implication is that the more you know and the more authority or power you take on, the more God will hold you responsible, and your family and immediate associates will pay the price with you.
#korach accused Moses of the very thing that Korach was guilty of: self-aggrandizement. Projection is typical behavior of people who cry about fairness. Moses didn't promote himself, but #korah did.
Numbers 16:3
Moses's first response to Korah's rebellion was to pray on their behalf. "Pray for those who persecute you."
Numbers 16:4
God's anointing isn't subject to vote or argument. God chooses whom He will. Complaining that God's anointed is anointed is a complaint against God, not the man. Those who reject Moses aren't rejecting Moses at all. They're rejecting God's anointing, God's Law, God's sovereignty.
Numbers 16:5,11
just a few days ago the world held it’s collective breath and waited for the next world war to begin, but today the world is looking forward to peace. Psalm 30:5, “For His anger is fleeting, but His favor lasts a lifetime.Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning.” Our prayers and our vigilance should not stop because we never know what the enemies of our Creator will plan for tomorrow. What we do know is that He is in control and He holds the future in His hands.
