Everything has a meaning and a purpose, yes…
Especially when the Name of YHWH is there. It’s not for no meaning and no purpose that It is written into the Holy Scriptures.
Infact it is **the** meaning and **the** purpose.
We should ask what the meaning and purpose was of those who thought it not only allowed but necessary to remove YHWH and to replace His Holy Name with LORD - a generic feudalistic title of medieval British nobility.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with the title of “Lord” (contrary to the claims of many amatuer Messy-anic theologians). But it’s irrelevant when addressing our Almighty, YHWH.
And calling Him “Lord” while not being sinful in itself, is nevertheless simply stupid.
If we are intending to offer Him another moniker from a foreign country and a different time, why continue the british tradion of 1000 years ago? We might aswell atleast update the title to something modern and reflective of our own culture - CEO maybe? Or perhaps President or Prime Minister?
Sounds silly doesnt it? Yet saddling the Most High with the title Lord is no less silly. Solly but not sinister.
What is sinister and actually innately wrong and greatly evil is replacing the Name of our Heavenly Father with a foreignized anachronistic monicker. And we need to ask ourselves why it would be okay to do so.
We need to ask why we should care about the significance of a lesser words and their meanings being in the Bible or not being in the Bible anc why when we make it a point to make for our Heavenly Father a replacement title of Great Britain that is also not in the Bible.

The word symbol does not appear in the Bible, instead the word used is sign and sometimes signet. A sign can be as miraculous as the way the sun, moon and stars appear in a certain conjuncture or as simple as an altar that is given a name. One thing is certain, there is no symbolism over substance in the Bible, everything has a meaning and a purpose. Exodus 28:36, “You are to make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.”
Thought for Today: Thursday May 22
In the midst of the current world’s confusion, wars, crimes and sins, YHVH’s omnipotent hand moves, working out His unchanging plan and purpose. By His providence He sustains every believer and behind the scenes He is working to bring about His divine purpose of each of us. What might that purpose be? Paul recorded it this way: “That… He might gather together in one all things in Moshiach, both which are in heaven and which are on earth” (Ephesians 1:10). Someday soon, all bad things, sin and rebellion of this corrupt universe will be destroyed, and Moshiach’s Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace will rule for ever.
