The peace offering was a community event, a party with God as the guest of honor. Most of the meat went back to the worshiper who was to share it with his family and friends. It was divided into 3 portions (Leviticus 3):

1) The visceral fat, kidneys with their fat, and long lobe of the liver belong to God. It was burned on the altar, on top of the daily burned offering.
2) The right thigh and breast belong to the priest (Leviticus 7).
3) The rest belongs to the worshiper and his community and must be entirely eaten on the same day.

Point 1 has been a topic of discussion since we came to Torah. Does that mean that only in this event is the kidney fat a sacrifice and in other occasions it can be eaten?

It is my understanding that organ fat is not permitted to us for food. I'll see if I can dig up the reference to it.

Here it is: Lev 3:17 LSV This is a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you do not eat any fat or any blood.”

...by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God—so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ.
Romans 15:19 ESV

Paul carried Yeshua’s healing power with him wherever he went. He healed the sick, survived mortal wounds, and even raised the dead. Just as he did to bring the Hebrews out of Egypt, God uses such miracles to ease the suffering of his people, but also to show his power to both them and the nations.

For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed...
Romans 15:18 ESV

Paul is saying that he would take no credit for the sanctification of the mixed multitude that God was calling out of the nations.

Obedience to the Law of God is a primary goal of evangelism. It isn’t enough to say “I believe” if your behavior doesn’t change. Belief without obedience is a lie. Paul didn’t reach the nations of his day through mere speech, but through walking out the word. He obeyed the Law throughout his life. When he “became as a Greek” to the Greek, he didn’t mean that he sacrificed at their temples, kept their holy days, and ate unclean animals, but that he met them where they were, speaking to them in words and concepts they could understand and humbling himself to walk among them and fellowship with them.

Ecclesiastes 1:9, “What has been will be again, and what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” All History is significant, many of mankind’s failures are repeated because we didn’t learn from the mistakes of the past. More important is Biblical history because these are the words of our Creator delivered through His prophets.

FIVE WORLDLY THINGS!

21 w

Five things the world teach us that is not Biblical!

1) “FOLLOW YOUR HEART” – this tells you that your personal feelings and desires are the ultimate guide to decision making. But Yeshua told us to follow Him, because your heart is deceitful and can lead you in a wrong direction.

2) “WEALTH EQUALS SUCCESS” – Having a lot of money and materialistic items, is what going to make you successful and happy. Yeshua warned us against the love of money. True success is measured by your faithfulness to YHVH Elohiym.

3) “BE TRUE TO YOURSELF” – This create the belief that truth is subjective and that we should define our own reality. In John 14:6; Yeshua says, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one goes to the Father except through Me.” Our own view and perspective on things CANNOT override YHVH’s Truth.

4) “DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY” – This teaches you to put your personal happiness above all things, regardless of the consequences. Happiness derives from sin and selfishness but true joy comes with a relationship with YHVH.

5) “YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE” – This promotes a mindset of living in a moment, prioritizing pleasure, and disregarding any long-term consequences. But the Bible causes believers to live with an eternal perspective.

I had quite a bit of dealings with Mormons recently and when we spoke about how to hear Father's voice they had an answer that resembled “FOLLOW YOUR HEART”. It reminded me of what I was taught in church, pray and wait to receive an answer. If you have peace then that is Father's will.

How is that view any different to the worldly view of “FOLLOW YOUR HEART”?

I do agree that our hearts are deceitful, but how do we truly hear Father's voice?

Ive thought many times I was hearing Yah's voice, when it was my self telling me to do something. Hearing Yah's voice can be difficult, but hindsight is 20/20, and youll know if you havent heeded His voice, and regret it!

Friend Finder radius increase

21 w

I have now increase the search radius on the Friend Finder to 10,000 kilometers, so it is possible to search for people on a much wider area.

Do let me know if you need an even wider area then I'll see what is possible.
