Thought for Today: Monday April 18:
There are some scholars that think Job may be the oldest book in the Bible. Whether that is true or not, it certainly deals with one of humanity’s oldest questions: Why does YHVH allow suffering…? After all, how could a loving and gracious Elohim allow suffering …? The key is to understand the Character of YHVH. That is what Job discovered. No, YHVH never gave him a logical, complete answer for his suffering. But through his experience he came to realize that YHVH could be trusted, because He is Merciful and Loving. And you can trust Him too -- not because He always give us all the answers, but simply because He is Elohim!
In the last congregation I attended the Feast of Unleavened Bread was also known as "The Week of Mexican food". #unleavendbread #passover
