Thought for Today: Shabbat March 22
As a believer, stop judging and evaluating yourself! This is not your role. Above all, stop comparing yourself to other people. This produces feelings of pride or inferiority; and sometimes a mixture of both. YHVH leads each of His children along a path that is uniquely tailor-made for him / her. Do not look for affirmation in the wrong places; your own evaluations, or those of other people. The only source of real affirmation is YHVH’s unconditional love. Trust and have faith in Him today, no matter what. – Shabbat Shalom!
Praise YHWH! Not a generic Lord. Not a generalized God.
YHWH, He is Elohim!
“Oh but that’s just for Israel!” Some say in their ignorance.
Shall we read it again slower?
“Praise YHWH ALL YOU NATIONS!!!”
He doesn’t say He will accept whatever nonsense names and titles all the nations are already giving to the objects of their worship.
He doesn’t say all the pagan idols are really just versions of Him.
He doesn’t say serving any singular divinity of our personal choosing will suffice for true religion.
He says “Praise YHWH all you nations! Praise Him all you peoples!”
Thankfully YHWH is merciful for those who know no better…
…but why are you relying on His mercy instead of trying to know better and do better?
PRAISE YHWH!
Not Lord.
Not God.
YHWH!
YHWH! He is Elohim!
HalleluYAH!!!

WHOEVER EXALTS HIMSELF SHALL BE HUMBLED | #torah
According to 1 Kings 7:20, there were 200 pomegranates cast in two rows around the capitals of the bronze pillars of the Temple. According to Jeremiah 52:23, four pomegranates in each row were set aside from the rest. I imagine that there were 96 of one size in each of the two rows with four larger pomegranates on opposite sides of the column, perhaps representing the four corners of the earth.
Bronze represents judgment, while four represents entirety of something--usually the world--and two sets of 200 may represent an appeal for mercy.
Consider that Jacob sent 200 female goats and 200 ewes to Esau, Abigail gave 200 loaves and 200 fig cakes to David, and Ziba gave 200 loaves and 200 fruits to David.
This coming week, 23-29 March 2025 (23-29 Adar 5785), the Bible reading plan covers Pekudei (Accounts).

And King Solomon sent and brought Hiram from Tyre.
1 Kings 7:13
Apparently Hiram was a popular name among the Phoenicians of Tyre. This man wasn't the same as King Hiram of Tyre, but the son of another Tyrian man and an Israelite woman from Naphtali.
Despite not being an Israelite himself (in God's plan, nationality is determined by the father, not the mother), God gave Hiram a phenomenal level of talent in bronzeworking, perhaps even to the level of prophecy, like Bezalel who built the furnishings of the Tabernacle.
God chooses whomever he wills without regard to our expectations or preferences.
