There is much speculation concerning the proposed change to a law in theater of California concerning abortion. The current bill as written does not promote infanticide as some have implied. It does however, delete the requirement for the County Coroner to hold inquests for fetal deaths occurring without medical attention and prohibit the Coroner’s statements from being used to prosecute anyone involved in a fetal death. This affectively means that anyone can attempt an abortion as I find no exemption in the current bill that would prosecute someone providing an abortion without a license. This seems confusing and it is a difficult subject, Please pray that the people of California would take action to prevent the changes to current California law that would make having an abortion easier than it already is.
