Thought for Today: Wednesday February 23:

In YHVH, you have everything. In His Eyes you are complete. Your capacity to experience YHVH is increasing, through His removal of debris and clutter from your heart. As you yearning for Him increases, other desires are gradually lessening. Since He is Infinite and abundantly accessible to you, desiring Him above all else is the best way to live. It is impossible for you to have that He cannot meet. After all, He Created you and everything that is. The world is still at His beck and call, though it often appears otherwise. Do not be fooled by appearances. Things that are visible are brief and fleeting, while things that are invisible are everlasting.

The Neglected Commandment

The community of faith has made a tremendous mistake when it comes to our children. The Torah community in particular is without excuse because we know that the words of Yah given on Mount Sinai are good and for our benefit.

Haven't been able to stop thinking about this message by Daniel Joseph. A powerful word and an awesome sermon series. I've been diligently thinking about possible Idols I have set up in my heart to tear them down.

In Matthew 9:14-17, #yeshua responded to a question about #fasting with analogies about weddings, garments, and wineskins. What do all these things have to do with fasting? What did Yeshua mean by these parables?

The key to understanding this passage is realizing that it contains no parables at all, at least not how we usually think of them. The bridegroom, the garment, and the wineskins are analogies, and it's important not to take an analogy further than the author intended.

In this video, I explain what I think Yeshua really meant.

Matthew 9:14-17 and the Three Fasting Parables

Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?” And Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is w

He set up the pillars at the vestibule of the temple. He set up the pillar on the south and called its name Jachin, and he set up the pillar on the north and called its name Boaz.
1 Kings 7:21

Hiram named the pillars Jachin and Boaz, seemingly representing opposite concepts: permanence and agility. If the pillars represent God's judgment and the pomegranates represent reconciliation, the names of the pillars could indicate a similar contrasts.
