Interesting: randomly found this in a journal of mine from 2014, yet it was similar to a thought that came to me few days before I stumbled across it:

"An attack on marrying multiple wives is an attack on marriage just as an attack on having multiple children is an attack on having children."

What I thought of before I found the note was of referring to the Roman laws that were made against multiple wives as "anti-marriage", "marriage restriction", and such like.

One thing that I find important to remember, is that our examples of multiple wives (the first two at least) were not the man's choice, they went along with their wife/wives. Jacob was not wanting to marry Leah, but was tricked. I do not believe Yah set out with the plan for men to have multiple wives, but also didn't say it was sin. There was anneed for Jacob to have so many sons due to he wealth and amount of flocks to take care of. Nowadays, I do not see the point in men having multiple wives other than greed. As Nikilas said, those men dealt with many hardships due to having multiple wives. Solomon was even taken away from Torah/Yah due to his wives. It's not something to take lightly, but that's just me. Everyone is entitled to what they see/view.

How do you see this angle, if Leah is the grandmother of the Mashiach, the Cohanim and Leviim, then Leah was the real wife of Yaakov because all these were sanctioned from above especially where the Mashiach is involved, Yah knew the outcome from the onset. ?

FOR THE GREATER GOOD vs FOR THE GREATER GOD! I want the Greater GOD, THE LORD, THE KING of kings, and the LORD of lords. Governments and people in power have told us we have no choice it is FOR THE GREATER GOOD, only the LORD is GOOD. And mankind is not my GOD. And the people in powerful places have proven not to always be good at anything. Example: Biden, Harris, Nancy and you see where this is going. Test how great is anything that does not allow a person to have FREE WILL. Bible tells us "a willing heart."

Found this quote in some old notes; unfortunately couldn't find the source again. It demonstrates a very basic and inexcusable fallacy used to condemn many things:

“With regard to polygamy, medical research has shown that women involved tend to have higher incidence of mental illness, including depression, anxiety, phobias, and somatization disorder. Children of polygamous unions have a higher incidence of antisocial behaviors, drug abuse and alcoholism, as well as poorer academic outcomes. These studies targeted populations around the world, not just in Mormon communities. Given these facts, the US government should move swiftly to take legal action against the organizers of this movement.”

The only thing necessary to demonstrate the foolishness and immorality of it is to turn it on something they instead prefer to protect, like so:

“With regard to people of darker skin, medical research has shown that women involved tend to have higher incidence of mental illness, including depression, anxiety, phobias, and somatization disorder. Children in darker skinned families have a higher incidence of antisocial behaviors, drug abuse and alcoholism, as well as poorer academic outcomes. These studies targeted populations around the world, not just in ghetto communities. Given these facts, the US government should move swiftly to take legal action against people with darker skin.”

I would certainly be opposed to any government having the authority or ability to do anything regarding whether someone has more then one spouse.

#readmethebiblegarth now includes a new recording of Exodus 1-29 in Hebrew with translation, and in the Lawful Literal Version, here: https://youtube.com/playlist?l....ist=PLvpqSEOjm625MyT

The Hebrew for 2022 recordings demonstrate the Grenache tonal reading method for the Hebrew text which brings out the meaningful divisions of verses, according to semantic meaning of the cantillation marks found in the Masoretic text.

Shalom Shalom family ?

Jeremiah 29:11-13 is a powerful promise written to a body of people. “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares YHVH, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.’”

The “all” YHVH is saying, if all of you would seek me, you will find the plans I have for you. If we want to see YHVH ’s blessing in our midst, if we want to see Yeshua’s transforming power, the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our life, then we need to pray together.

A family that pray together, stay together.

Our Heavenly Father and great I Am. Thank You for awakening us to Your call each day and reviving us in new Spirit of strength. Thank You that You are our maker, You make ways for us where there seems to be no way. You help us walk on the highway of Your greatness. You plan our day with blessings and not curses. We give thanks to all Your plans to prosper us instead of harm. Please guard our minds, hearts and lips to speak prosperity over ourselves and others. Help us to place all trust and faith in each day to see all efforts and hard work yield in great results. Let us always be filled with songs of victory because You are our way to Salvation. Thank You for the blessings of our daily bread and all that we have. Thank You for giving us yet this day to come together in Your mighty Name to celebrate life. Forgive us our sins and trespasses. Please stand guard against all evil and oppression. Please fill us today with shouts of joy and victory. We love You with all Spirit, mind and all that we are. Let Thy Kingdom come and will be done on earth as in heaven. Amein

Thought for Today: Thursday January 06:

YHVH is leading you along the high road, but there are descents as well as ascents. In the distance you see snow-covered peaks glistering in brilliant sunlight. Your longing to reach those peaks is good but you must not take shortcuts. Your assignment is to follow Yeshua, allowing YHVH to direct your path. Let the heights beckon you onward but stay close to Him. Learn to trust Him when things go wrong. Disruptions to your routine highlight your dependence on Him. Trusting acceptance of trials brings blessings that far outweigh them all. Walk hand-in-hand with YHVH through this day. He has lovingly planned every inch of the way. Trust does not falter when the path becomes rocky and steep. Breath deep draughts of His Presence and hold tightly on to His Hand. Together with YHVH you will make it!
