If it remains a riddle, then how can you rightly say you know “god” is a translation of “elohim”? We must know the meaning of both words to confirm “God” is an appropriate term for our Creator. Must we not? We don’t know the origin and as of now can’t know the origin with any degree of certainty so how can we rightly justify calling Him by this title?
Shortly after the October 7th events in Israel, I released this video which struck a chord with some viewers, and rightly so. After all, as parents, we want to shield our children from things that would make them feel afraid or insecure. This line of thinking might have been ok in past eras, but I don't think it's wise today.
