Esau was a man of passion. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Any self-help guru will tell you passion is necessary for success. It just needs to be balanced with self restraint.

What translation of the Bible do you all use? I use the complete jewish study bible and I love it!

Shalom, Donna!! I have many versions of the Word but the one I use most is the TLV [Tree of Life Version]. I am also reading through the Israel Bible and I am thoroughly enjoying it!! I'm kinda sad that the latter is only comprised of the Torah, Tanakh, and the Prophets, without the New Covenant... Anyway, I also refer to in studies the HalleluYAH Scriptures, the ISR, and my CJB too. I find the more translations I use for each study, the clearer HIS Word is for me....

CJB was the first Bible I read cover to cover. I like the layout of it, which made it easy to read. The transliterations made it harder though. Now, I use several different ones, with ESV being the main one. Easy to read and understand. I've been learning to read Hebrew and I have a concordance and software that let's me look up words in Hebrew and Greek, so that helps a lot on not being tied to one translation.

I use the ESV most often, but sometimes read the CJB, KJV, NKJV, TLV, JPS, and Brenton.

Let's talk about managing our homes. A planner can be your greatest tool to help you up your game as a manager.

First up: feeding our family

I plan my weekly dinner menu on Friday the week before. On several days of the week, I use a set menu. For example, Monday is burgers, Tuesday is stir-fry, Thursday is pizza, Friday is burritos. Those get filled in first because they rarely change. Then, I only have three days to figure out. If I know I will be very busy on a certain day, I definitely would choose an easy dinner. My weekly menu fits very nicely at the bottom of each day’s column on the weekly pages.

There is nothing the adversary can throw at you that you will not be able to overcome if you are walking in the Spirit. Nothing! There is no temptation so great that you will not be able to resist it if you are walking in the Spirit.

Our flesh is weak and gives us desires that are not pleasing to HIM, for those desires of this world. Do not cave in to the pressures of this world because you were created for better! You were created by, and for, Yahweh/GOD, to serve HIM. You were created to walk as Yeshua Walked.

You are Not weak, but you have been made strong by HIS Power! Walk in HIS Power and HIS Strength! Overcome!

"Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not accomplish the lust of the flesh..." ~ Galatiyim [Galatians] 5:16

"But GOD is Faithful – HE will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle. But with the temptation HE will also provide a way of escape, so you will be able to endure it" ~ Qorinitiyim Aleph [1 Corinthians] 10:13

[Near Shechem] he erected an altar and called it El-Elohe-Israel.
#genesis 33:20

In Scripture, erecting an altar is much like naming a place. It creates a permanent connection between the builder and the land. You won't find any of the patriarchs setting up an altar in Egypt or Mesopotamia, but only in the land God promised to give to them and their descendants.
