What are some of the ways you and your family celebrate and honor Shabbat? If you have children, what special activities do you do with them?

My husband and I have this really cool purple tent that we call the "Sabbath Sukkah" where we'll bring it out and let the kids put blankets and pillows in there. We set it up in the living room so they can watch Bible-based movies and such. We'll do reading together as a family, as well as hubby and I do our independent studies.

I'm just looking for more creative ideas to make Shabbat fun for everyone <3

Because of our impatience, our wanting things done in our own timing, we are constantly trying to write our own story. Is it because we believe that we can do better than Yahweh/GOD? We can't, ya know. We don't see through HIS Eyes! We can't know what HE knows! HIS Ways are so much greater than ours!

It's time for us to "Just Be Still" and allow HIM to work in our lives, on our behalf, and for our benefit. Stay in prayer, Beloved!! I know there's a Wonderful ending...because HE's Promised us that...

GOD is still writing your story. Stop trying to steal the pen...

We don't have to travel to a foreign country or even to the town next to ours in order to do as Yeshua/JESUS asks and "make disciples." Our very lives are a witness...the words we speak to those we see as we run daily errands testify of HIM...right where we are.

Before we can rightly testify of the YAHsomeness of our Creator, of HIS Son Yeshua/JESUS our Messiah, we must be walking with HIM and in HIS Ways.

Right now, this very moment [because it just may be all we have], is the time to draw close to Yahweh/GOD. Dive into HIS Word. All our instructions for walking as Yeshua Walked are right there at our fingertips. The more you kneel before HIM in prayer, the more you study HIS Word, you will find being an ambassador for Yahweh/GOD just comes naturally because you...are becoming who HE wants you to be.
