There are several ways I study the scriptures. First read through with other translations, of course I do use commentaries, I do verse mapping, scripture writing, and Bible journaling. Not all at once if course, lol, but these are some techniques I use to get the most out of my quiet time. Since developing a quiet time I can't pull away from it anymore or start the day without it.
