1 Chronicles 4:9-10
Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother named him Jabez saying, “Because I bore him with pain.” Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!” And God granted him what he requested.
Mazen posted listen to your own voice, follow your soul and you are your own guru. Or something close to that.
Here is my commitment to that post.
Being YOUR OWN GURU?
There are tons of people who look in the mirror and see a guru who knows their problems and even has made them. I used to talk to myself, my internal evaluation. It always let me down. I thought I am sick of being my own god, let the real one take over. So, I gave my SOUL back to Jesus The Christ with the Heavenly Father and my new best friend the Holy Spirit. Went into the study to prove if it's right or wrong. The Bible never let me down. And now I have not only the playbook. Then what? I wake up every morning and say, LORD what battle do you want to stand in and stand for today? And I go into battle against principalities on high. Demons that are seen and unseen. I call on my LORD who tells me I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. Spiritual Warfare. I am what The "I AM " says I am.
God answers when we call and even before. If we don't hear or see his answer immediately, take heart; our rescue has already been set in motion, but we need to be patient and wait for his timing. God preserves the humble and faithful even in the midst of trouble. This doesn't mean we are spared trouble, but that our circumstances always serve God's purposes and our ultimate good.
Pride is self-defeating. We lift our heads to be seen by the world, while the only One who matters turns away in favor of those who seek him instead of worldly fame and fortune. The most powerful men in all the earth will bow to God and thank him for his loving kindness when he finally makes his full truth known to them.
Psalm 138
ALL things work together ( note the word work, not just there but working, doing something, and what something is that?) for the good. for those who LOVE the LORD and called to HIS PURPOSE. WHY this Verse when we are in need, puzzle or even JOY.
Because what is the purpose of Satan attacking you, if you are not in sin, which has its own payment and repenting is a solution. Now, what is left for your need for prayer? A battle, war!
Here is my prayer for those who are in the battle.
There are now two reasons for battle.
One: The LORD pointed you out as HE did about JOB. And The LORD thinks so much of you that he knew you would NEVER stop loving HIM and that you will see it to the end and get the Victory.
Two: Your calling has but you as a target. Satan wants you to look more at your prayer need than your calling, or your purpose. The harder the problem the bigger the purpose. Why would Satan waste time on anyone that doesn't love the LORD? If an unbeliever has a problem then it is to keep them from GOD. But in this case to keep someone from their purpose. When your prayer need is answered there will be a time when you will see that it fit with the BIGGER picture that is THE LORD's purpose. Always a thrilling time. Even more so if you can do your purpose while being attacked. Bad image for satan to see how once more he has failed. This is after the battle is won in the Heavens and then on earth.
NOW HERE IS MY PRAYER
Lord allow the peace that passes all understanding be with those who want to see your face someday. Have YOUR LOVE that YOU give so freely to them with hope and even JOY at a time of need. Have them live in your invisible present. That they know that they KNOW! Give them a spirit of boldness. Let the HOLY SPIRIT be seen in them wherever they go, be it a hospital or Walmart. Whatever state they are in let them know it is working together with all you have planned for the KINGDOM of G-d. Let it be as sunlight in their eyes. Thank you, LORD, that if I have forgotten anything please add it to this prayer and seal the names of those who read it and take it as their own. To the GREAT AMEN. YOUR name is AMEN.
