What order of priority do you use to interpret Scripture?

This is exactly my perspective now Rhy. I was always taught in church to interpret the Old Testament in light of the new. This is so obviously the wrong way round to me now. How can you understand the Messiah if you don't understand what was prophesied of him. How can we understand what his role of high priest is if we don't understand Exodus and Leviticus. Our definitions come from the front of the book. :-)

I am in agreement with the current view and believe we learn from the past and we recieve a greater understanding of Yahs walk. Yahshua quoted from the prophets and the Tanak. You don't start a book from the middle and expect to understand what the author is trying to teach. So why would we not start from the beginning and read all the way to the end. It renews our mind and helps us to stay on the narrow path. Its how we gain wisdom and understanding.

What does everyone do with their sourdough starter during Passover? I threw mine away but I’m reluctant to start again only to have to throw it out just as it’s maturing!

Welcome to the club, but that is what we do in our house. We throw it out every year and start over. It has now come to a point where we can regrow it within a few weeks. How about you start a Forum topic on this and ask the community as well?
