Jacob's blessing in Genesis 26: No fear, God's presence and blessing, and countless descendants.

Jacob's blessing in Genesis 27: Wealth, world leadership, and the Covenant of Abraham.

These blessings can be inherited by Jacob's descendants today. The covenant, including many descendants, is unconditional. Israel doesn't need to do anything at all to keep it. The rest, however, is closely tied to continued obedience. So long as Israel keeps the commandments and keeps faith in YHWH, they will prosper. Disobey, and they are defeated and exiled.

Blessed are You Yahuah Shammah, for amidst the trails and troubles of this world, You are present and ready to help us. You sent Your Son Yeshua Moshiach so that we should not perish but have eternal life. Yahuah Rohi, we thank You for Your Church and the hope that it brings to troubled lives. We ask Your blessing upon all believers who are being persecuted for their faith or who risk their lives in the care of others. We pray for all peoples in war-torn areas, in areas with natural disasters or in places with famine. Yahuah Shalom, we ask Your grace upon all who seek to bring peace and harmony to our world. We ask Your blessing upon leaders and nations and all our young men in armed forces. We pray for all of them who lives are endangered this night. Yahuah El-Shaddai, We thank You for our homes and our loved ones and we ask Your blessing upon all who are driven out of their homes through acts of violence, debt, disasters, crime, war and broken relationships. We ask Your blessing upon all who find they can no longer cope with life. Yahuah Rophe, we thank You for our healing services, doctors, nurses, ambulance staff and paramedics. We ask that You bless them and give them peace. We pray for those who are ill, with a disability, on their death bed tonight and those who have fallen apart through the loss of a loved one. Yahuah Elohim, we thank You for the gift of eternal life and we rejoice in the fellowship of Your saints. We ask that You will forgive us our sins and teach us to forgive others that sin against as. Be our pillar of fire during this night and protect us against all evil. We ask and pray this in the Name of Maran Rabbeinu Yeshua Moshiach, amein.

Always important to remember that the believers who were originally called Christians in the New Testament were Torah observant.

Have you maintained a faithful, straight walk in Torah? Or, have you gotten “off the path” a little or a lot? Do you sense a call to return to the path, to Yahweh?
Continuing from the last episode, Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us from Ezekiel chapter 18 to chapter 33. In the first part of the chapter, Yahweh appoints the prophet Ezekiel to be a “watchman” who would warn the people of that time of the judgment coming upon them. Yahweh also gave clear instructions for how this appointment should be performed, with a warning to the prophet of the consequences should he not perform his duties.
• Can anyone take away from this passage that they too are “watchman”?
• What is the danger in claiming to be someone appointed by Yahweh?
• How did Rabbi Steve define ‘crookedness’?
• What is the difference between your righteousness and Elohim’s righteousness?
• What is your part in getting into the Kingdom of Elohim?
• What will you be doing in the Millennium?
• What is the real test of your pursuing Torah?
• When is an apology not an apology?
• What is the difference between a ‘won’t and a ‘can’t’?
• Are your sins truly forgotten?
• What is the one “salvation issue”?
Verse-by-verse and step-by-step Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us on the journey of discovery as we learn how to covenant with our Creator and Father, which, from time to time requires us to turn around and return (Shuva) to His Word so that we can have a sure entrance into His Kingdom.
