We must repent of alignment with this pagan fertility goddess and we must separate ourselves from those who defend her.

Daily Prayer
Blessed are You Adonai Eloheinu, You give us life, You give us love and You give us Yourself. We come to give our lives and our love to You. Cleanse us from all sin past and present and create a clean heart within us, that we may do what You want us to do and be the people You want us to be. We give thanks for the examples of the saints in their battle against evil and in their striving to do good. We pray now for all who are struggling with temptation and for all who are pulled by divided loyalties. We pray for those who go through rituals but miss reality. We ask Your blessing on all who are scorned and rejected because of their relationship with HaMashiach. We give thanks for the work of Social Services and all who work for the care of others. We pray for all who are caught up in vice or degradation. We pray for all addicts that they may find help and hope. Bless all who struggle to keep standards and make a stand against evils that are around them. We rejoice in our homes and family life. We thank You for all who have given their lives in caring for us and in loving us. We ask Your blessing upon our loved ones, families and friends. We pray for all who are lonely, who feel uncared for or unwanted, for those who suffer from neglect or those in broken relationships. We ask Your comfort on all who are hungry, homeless, ill, with a disability or with a terminal illness. We ask Your presence with all who feel that life is meaningless and empty. We ask Your blessing on the despairing and despondent and for all who is treated as unclean. Father we ask that we may rest under Your hand of protection and that we may have Your peace. We pray this through the blood and in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, amein.
Part 2 is giving me a chance to talk about a rebuttal that I haven't brought up before: eating with thanksgiving. In 1 Timothy 4 Paul talks about there are those who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods. Then he goes to say that "everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving."
The part many who use this chapter to justify eating what God doesn't call food is that Paul specifically points out in verse 3 when talking about the abstinence he specifies "foods that God created".
God never changed what food was, as I have brought up in several other comics on the subject. What Paul is talking about here in 1 Timothy are people who say you can't even eat something God said you could. Much like the instance in Mark 7 where the Jews were challenging Yeshua on the fact that his disciples were eating without washing their hands. What they were eating was food and it was clean, the Jews thought if you didn't wash your hands it made it unclean, therefor not food. Yeshua clarified this isn't the case, much like Paul is doing here.
