I don't think I'm going to get my outdoor photo shoot for my new product today. It's been raining all morning. How's your weather?

Normally, we would be in our dry part of summer now. Instead, we are getting so much rain.

In my book, I do not mention the specific people or organizations who were so helpful to me on my journey. This is not a lack of appreciation for them, but a realization that the content may be accepted or rejected based on those affiliations. I would rather the content stand or fall on its own.

It is very interesting how many people started out on their Torah-journey trying to disprove Shabbat. For us, it was simply trying to figure out which of the 7 "work"-days we should be taking as a day of rest as we were close to burning out.

Ralph Moore and I would love to hear what everyone else's experience was, so please head over to https://www.thetorahnetwork.com/forums/thread/15/ and tell us how you came to Torah.

Thought for today: Tuesday July 13:

"I always try to live in a way that I possess the firmness and the virtue to be worthy of what I regard as the greatest title --- a child with the character of the Most High King God."

"Now, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery." (2 Chr. 19:7)

Adonai Yeshua, I am not ashamed to acknowledge You as the Owner and Redeemer of my life or to profess Your Name under any circumstances, amein.

If I praise the LORD about something that could be a stealthy brag on myself is it wrong? If I hold in my praise for what the LORD has done for me in order to avoid saying something that could be a stealthy brag on myself is it right?

It is a bit of a conundrum, but I would have to agree with as this reminds me of Yeshua talking about the Pharisee in Luke 18:10-14.

V14 "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted."

My view is that a person can humbly give Father the honour and if that then reflects positively on the person then that is in line with "the one who humbles himself will be exalted".

It is like not chosing the seat of honour at a table and then being asked by the host to have that seat...
