Any prayer we read in Scripture is there because it was written down (obviously). This alone makes written prayers a pretty biblical practice.
Many were written down after the fact, however many of the Psalms were written to be prayers.
Writing prayers down like letters, or after praying them as a record, is something to consider.

Like they say, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”…and what Rome has built in our hearts and minds won’t be unbuilt in a day either.

Be gentle with yourself. Don’t expect to get it all right right away. It takes time and study and patience.

Just do what you can with what you have learned. Adapt and change yourself to the truth…never the other way around.
