Psalm 82:1, “God stands in the congregation of God; He judges in the midst of gods.” When a king rises from a throne it is to pass judgement, this is what we are seeing in this verse. Our creator has heard the arguments of the divine beings in His court and now He stands to give His ruling. We don’t know exactly when this takes place, however it is obviously after the creation of earth and because these beings are still in rebellion we could easily speculate that this event is still in our future. The”prince of Persia” that detained Gabriel in Daniel 10, is among these beings and their punishment will be payment for payment. They will suffer the same fate as the people they caused to rebel against the Creator.

Joshua Myers i believe you and i (sorry if im remembering the wrong person) were having a conversation about whether or not the market would have been open in jerusalem after shabbat's ending sunset during the feast of unleavened bread. The story of the ten virgins just came to mind as proof the market pronably was open. (Esp vs 6-9)
