When we are called to face something we might not want to face, it can be difficult to begin. After the death of Moses, our Creator speaks to Joshua and offers words of encouragement and comfort and tells him to strengthen his faith. Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Hey family! I have been super inactive in this community, and I just wanted to apologize for that. We fared well through Helene and continue to pray for those up north who are suffering from it. To make up for lost time, here is a poem I wrote on the views of this life and this walk:

The Struggle of Reality

You might see a light, but it's coming from a train
You may only see darkness, yet there's still something to gain
You might be a realist, but could have a made-up truth
For every view, there's a struggle - of that, our life holds proof.

Sacrifice is the solution, for the problem is us.
Taking pain for someone else proves to heal broken trust.
For what the train driver sees is three idiots on the tracks aloof.
Survival requires maturity with the humility of a youth.

We all see through this tunnel, hoping for the best.
Trying to stand up, alone - but together, we must rest.
Moving fists in division here is only a waste of time.
We murder by distraction, submerge identity in crime.

We could be right and speaking truth with our spirit in the wrong place.
We rest assured in safety, but often misuse that grace.
Let's heed the warning signs given us, as the train is coming nigh,
Lest the truth becomes the casualty, and unity a lie.

No need to apologize. Life is hectic in general. I am glad to hear you are keeping well and are safe.

God never forgets or annuls a covenant. By his very nature, God cannot utterly reject Israel.

No one may be in the tent of meeting from the time he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place until he comes out and has made atonement for himself and for his house and for all the assembly of Israel.
Leviticus 16:17 ESV

No one but the High Priest can make the atonement of #yomkippur. Nobody else is even allowed in the Tent.

As Hebrews says, if Yeshua were on earth, he would not be qualified to offer any sacrifices in the Temple, because he is not a son of Aaron. However, the Aaronic High Priest is analogous to the Heavenly High Priest, Yeshua. He is the only one who can make atonement in the Most Holy Place in Heaven.
