Therefore produce fruits worthy of repentance; and don’t even begin to say among yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father’! For I tell you that from these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. Even now the axe is laid at the root of the trees, so every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire!”

Some must be cut off from the tree of Israel before the Messianic Era. "Bear fruit in keeping with repentance" or you too will be cut off. Genetic legacy is no guarantee of eternal salvation or inclusion in the Kingdom of Messiah. Just being a Jew isn't enough. Only those branches that bear good fruit will be spared.
