There's no DEI in God's Justice. He doesn't punish one innocent person in order to "level the playing field" for another innocent person. That only creates guilt in the beneficiary and resentment in the punished. Restitution is to be extracted from the guilty.

If anyone feels led, prayer for our family is appreciated. We thought we had gained our prodigal son back. He's been living with us for a year and 4 months.

We have lost him again. He moved out last week and the circumstances are worse than the first time.

This mama's heart is breaking.

I've been in deep prayer over this. I think the full pain of it didn't really hit till this morning. As I was praying, I realized the pain I feel over our son is nothing compared to the pain Father feels over His wayward children. I never want to cause Father the kind of pain I'm feeling.

I guess if there's an upside to this, it's that it's spurring me on in deeper prayer and it's causing me to reflect on my own life to make sure I am walking in Father's ways and truly loving Him as best I can.

Please pray for me to not allow the adversary to sidetrack me. The accusations run high. I was far from a perfect parent. We both were. But that does not justify the treatment we just received. We will all have to answer for our words and our actions.

I'm so grateful for what Yeshua did for us and that we have that covering. Sadly, two of our sons (including this one) have walked away from that. They've gone their own way and left Father behind. This one is leaving us behind, too. 💔💔🙏🙏

My calling has always been to the ones who claim to be taught ones, but would rather fit in. You want to fit in so don't forget you still gotta avoid sin. You can claim ignorance, but you are throwing your salvation in the garbage bin. Your crazy if you think your opinion surpasses Torah like wearing a hat of tin.

Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Being created in the image of God makes mankind different from any of the other living beings on earth and in heaven as well. we read that we are different than the animals and different than the divine beings we know as angels. Being genetically similar to an animal or even a plant is very different than being of that “kind” or species. As David reminds us in Psalm 139:14, “I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.”

"Traditions of men"

In line with the new Topic for this month, I am often told that I am following the traditions of men by following Torah. Which makes me wonder:

1. What is the true definition for "traditions of men"?
2. Are all traditions of men sinful?
3. Can we support someone with a tradition they follow if it doesn't cause them to sin?

What are your thoughts on this?

Is idolatry allowed in Torah? Not Yahuah’s Torah that’s for sure. Ba’al Gad worship is the traditions of men.

1. The traditions of men are manmade laws and habits and holidays.
2. Not all traditions of men are sinful. Going for an evening walk with your offspring everyday is not sinful. It is a tradition of man that a sabbath days walk not exceed half a mile. If you walk more than that, the tradition of man says you are sinning. However, sin is transgression of Torah, not rabbinical traditions. Torah says everyone is to stay in their own place. Yeshua did not have a place to lay His head and frequented the synagogues on sabbath. Did He sin by not staying in His place, or is in his own place possibly a larger area, such as a neighborhood or town? In his own place is the commandment we need to be concerned with, not the sabbath days walk.
3. Yes, we can support someone with a tradition of men. There is no sin in having a habit of daily walking, which is not a commandment of Torah, and is therefore your own tradition as a man.

1. Anything WE created that we "have" to follow. We, as people, create traditions all the time. Those that say they don't have traditions, are following a tradition of not following other known traditions. They are actively making sure they aren't getting caught up in something.
2. Nope, we see Yeshua following one of those traditions (Weekly Portions) in Luke 4:17-21. This Isaiah portion could have once been part of the Nitsavim portion (which starts just after what Yeshua read).
3. I don't know what you mean by support? Like, I feel supporting someone is encouraging, helping, facilitating what they do. If someone wants to where tefflin, I am not going to encourage them, but I am also not going to discourage them. If they try to push it on other believers (especially me and my family), I might then step in with challenges and Scripture.
