People are easily deceived when someone mixes truth with fiction or includes information that is not relevant to the subject being presented. An overabundance of information is an opportunity for confusion. Be very aware when someone adds more information than necessary, they may be attempting to confuse rather than support their position. False teachers and false prophets are much like shady salesmen, they tell you what they think you want to hear and often add their personal guarantee. Numbers 30:2, “ If a man makes a vow to Yehovah or swears an oath to bind himself with a binding obligation, he shall not violate his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.”
